Team Lead

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

• Responsible for one or more product areas for Verints Enterprise product suite
• Develop and implement software development plans, processes, and procedures and ensures they are adhered to
• Lead in team activities Requirements gathering & analysis, Design/Architecture/Implementation/Testing and the related reviews
• Collaborate with other departments to prioritize software development needs including design, development, and documenting and testing new and existing software
• May serve in a scrum master role as part of the agile software development process
• Ensure the team achieves the agreed timelines and milestones, reliability & performance, quality measures and meets the overall acceptance criteria of their responsible product areas
• Analyze and resolve software development issues and needs in terms of the software's full life cycle
• Perform root cause analysis

Minimum Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related degree

• 8+ years of software development experience

• 3+ years of Team Lead experience

• Expert in React.JS

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript with standard of ES6

• In-depth knowledge of CSS, HTML, and any front-end languages
• Experience in performance optimization of web app

• Strong understanding of UI design patterns and best practices.

• Knowledge of HTTP/Rest-based protocols principals

• Strong proficiency with Jira/Confluence

• Hands on experience on design tools like Zeplin or Figma

• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within software design and development

• Knowledge of performance, testing frameworks including Cucumber, Playwright, Selenium

• Strong troubleshooting & debugging capabilities in an agile software development team environment

• Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and parallel projects
• Successful completion of Verints background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verification
