About the job

We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of web applications and cloud infrastructure. These applications play a key role in monitoring and controlling solar and solar-hybrid energy systems deployed in diverse environments. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with firmware and product development teams to ensure smooth integration between devices, user interfaces, and backend systems, while delivering reliable and user-friendly web experiences.

Responsibilties

  • Develop and maintain web applications and supporting infrastructure for solar and solar-hybrid energy systems.
  • Work in close coordination with firmware and product development teams to ensure consistent functionality and seamless user experiences.
  • Optimize front-end performance to ensure stable application behavior, even in low-bandwidth or remote locations.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of user-focused features for IoT-enabled products.
  • Support the maintenance of production systems and follow established change management processes...

Required Qualification

  • 2–3 years of experience with the following AWS services: Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, API Gateway, VPC, IAM, Cognito.
  • Strong experience in vanilla JavaScript development and debugging.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience with React.js.
  • Familiarity with CloudFormation and AWS SAM.
  • Experience working with production environments and implementing change management best practices.
  • Understanding of GDPR and CCPA compliance principles.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and web accessibility standards (e.g.
  • WAI-ARIA guidelines). Preferred Skills: Exposure to Preact, TypeScript, or AWS IoT Core.
