Front Office Receptionist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to manage front desk operations at our hotel. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing bookings, and assisting guests with inquiries or concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.

Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.

Manage reservations via phone, email, or online booking systems.

Maintain accurate guest records and process payments.

Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.

Address guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and courteously.

Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to fulfill guest needs.

Answer and direct incoming calls professionally.

Maintain the reception area in a tidy and organized manner.

Follow hotel policies, procedures, and security standards.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality is a plus.

Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software (e.g., OPERA, Fidelio).

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

A positive attitude and professional appearance.

Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Working Conditions:

Full-time or part-time position.

Shift work, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Standing for extended periods.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
