Role Description:

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for the YMCA Management Office and will be responsible for greeting visitors, handling phone calls, managing clerical tasks, assisting management with day to day tasks and ensuring efficient communication within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist guests and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.

Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.

Draft, review, and manage correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documentation.

Organize and maintain files, records, and office systems for easy access and retrieval.

Act as the point of contact between management and internal team.

Perform other tasks as assigned to support management’s daily operations

Coordinate with various YMCA departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.

Qualifications:

Proficient in Clerical Skills and managing administrative tasks

Excellent Communication skills

Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor

Previous experience in a receptionist role is preferred

Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification

Basic computer literacy and familiarity with office software
