Job Title: Front Office Executive – OP Billing

Department: Front Office / Outpatient Billing

Location: Fernandez Hospitals - Hyderguda

Experience Required: 0 to 2 Years

Educational Qualification: Any Graduate (preferably B.Com, BBA, or related field)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Front Office Executive – OP Billing to manage outpatient billing and front-desk operations in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and customer service skills, with 0–2 years of experience in billing or front office roles. Fresh graduates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle OP (Outpatient) billing, including patient registration, billing, and payment collection.
  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to all patients and visitors.
  • Ensure accurate entry of patient details and services availed in the hospital management system (HIS).
  • Generate bills based on doctor consultations, lab tests, and procedures.
  • Process cash, card, UPI, or digital payments and issue receipts.
  • Maintain and reconcile billing records at the end of each shift/day.
  • Address patient queries related to billing and guide them courteously.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, lab staff, and other departments to ensure smooth outpatient workflow.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient records and sensitive information.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and hospital guidelines related to front office and billing operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate in any discipline (B.Com, BBA, BA, B.Sc. preferred).
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in hospital/clinic front office or billing roles.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and basic computer applications.
  • Familiarity with Hospital Information System (HIS) software is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a pleasant attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure during busy outpatient hours.

Work Conditions:

  • Shift-based duty including weekends and holidays, as per hospital schedule.
  • Front office desk role requiring professional attire and behavior.
  • May involve long hours during peak OPD days.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Experience with OP billing, patient registration, or customer care in a healthcare setting.
  • Fluency in English and local languages.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
