Job Description

Providing exceptional customer service to guests by handling check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries. This role ensures a smooth and efficient front office operation, delivering a personalized experience in line with the boutique hotel's unique atmosphere.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Services

  • Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
  • Assist with the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide information about the hotel, local attractions, dining options, and transportation.
  • Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to management as needed.

Reservations and Communication

  • Manage room bookings, cancellations, and amendments in the hotel reservation system.
  • Respond to phone calls and emails with professionalism and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain clear communication with housekeeping and maintenance teams regarding room status.

Administrative Tasks

  • Process payments, issue receipts, and manage guest accounts.
  • Reconcile daily financial transactions and prepare shift reports.
  • Maintain an organized and clean front desk area.

Other Duties

  • Support other departments when required, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Assist in promoting hotel services and upselling amenities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management is a plus.
  • Experience: Prior experience in front office, reception, or customer service roles preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel reservation software and MS Office.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Language: Proficiency in Kannada, English & Hindi ; additional languages are a bonus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
