Job Description

The Front Office Assistant plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to guests, handling their inquiries, and ensuring efficient operations at the hotel's front desk. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Reception:
  • Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Reservation Management:
  • Assist guests with making, modifying, and canceling room reservations.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guests' special requests are fulfilled.
  • Front Desk Operations:
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Process guest payments, including cash, credit card, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying.
  • Prepare daily reports, including occupancy rates and revenue summaries.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Safety and Security:
  • Follow hotel procedures for ensuring the safety and security of guests and their belongings.
  • Handle emergency situations calmly and according to established protocols.
  • Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
