Front Desk Receptionist

Core responsibilities

• Guest services: Greet guests warmly, assist with luggage, and provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Check-in and check-out: Efficiently process check-ins by verifying guest information and assigning rooms, and handle check-outs by preparing bills and processing payments.
• Reservations: Manage incoming calls and online bookings, making and modifying reservations as needed.
• Communication: Answer and direct phone calls, handle guest inquiries, and act as a liaison between guests and other hotel departments.
• Problem resolution: Address and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.

Administrative and financial duties

• Cash and payment processing: Handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and ensure all guest charges are posted accurately.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate guest records and manage hotel management software.
• Front desk maintenance: Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable.

Additional tasks

• Concierge services: Arrange for services like wake-up calls, taxi bookings, or booking tickets for local events.
• Coordination: Liaise with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure rooms are ready and guest needs are met.
• Other duties: Perform administrative tasks like filing, photocopying, and managing mail and packages.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
