Job Summary
1. OPD registration and billing. Depositing daily OPD cash in accounts office.
2. Guiding patients to consultant’s cabins, to pathology lab, for noninvasive investigation and for admission.
3. IPD registration- registration form to be filled properly by the patient/relative and duly signed. name to be verified.
4. Issue of IP file and addressograph.
5. Scheduling telephonic appointments.
6. Maintaining various registers for vendor pass, keys, courier’s telephone calls, newspaper and hand over.
7. As soon as patient is admitted by him/her (if there is no separate admitting office, or at nights), he shall immediately inform the concerned ward in-charge and the consultant in-charge after completing all formalities of admission.
8. All outgoing and incoming call from nursing stations, patient rooms and offices will be routed through the telephone operator.
9. To issue different passes to vendors and visitors as per hospital policy. To give proper visitor information.
