• Conduct systematic ward rounds, assess admitted patients, and escalate findings to the treating consultant.
• Initiate and manage basic lifesaving interventions—airway, breathing, circulation—during code situations until specialist support arrives.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory and imaging investigations; update electronic medical records in real time.
• Prescribe medications, IV fluids, and therapeutic procedures according to consultant directives and hospital protocols.
• Facilitate interdepartmental transfers, coordinate discharges, and counsel patients and relatives on treatment plans.
• Ensure infection-control compliance, documentation accuracy, and timely incident reporting within the IPD.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• MBBS degree recognised by NMC with valid permanent registration.
• 0–2 years experience as RMO/House Officer or clinical internship in a hospital setting.
• Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) and emergency management protocols.
• Competence in venepuncture, IV cannulation, and catheterisation.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English and local language.
  

Preferred

• ACLS certification and familiarity with crash-cart drugs.
• Prior exposure to NABH-accredited hospital standards.
• Working knowledge of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and electronic medical records.
  

• Structured mentorship by senior consultants and sponsored CME credits.
