Fresher Junior Linux DevOps Server Administrator / Cloud & Automation

Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy fresher to join our IT infrastructure team as a Junior Linux DevOps Server Administrator. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in managing Linux servers, cloud environments, and automation tools under the mentorship of senior administrators.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Linux Server Support:
• Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux-based servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
• Perform basic user management, disk monitoring, and system updates.
• System Monitoring & Reporting:
• Monitor server performance and uptime using tools like Zabbix, Grafana, or Nagios.
• Report issues and assist with basic troubleshooting under guidance.
• DevOps & Automation (Training Provided):
• Learn to automate tasks using Bash scripting or Ansible.
• Assist in managing basic CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Cloud Platform Exposure:
• Gain exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments.
• Support provisioning and managing instances and services.
• Backup & Security Support:
• Assist in implementing security best practices and regular patching.
• Help manage scheduled backups and system logs.
• Collaboration & Learning:
• Work closely with senior team members to understand DevOps workflows.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, technical discussions, and documentation.
• Documentation & Logs:
• Maintain accurate records of configurations, changes, and issue resolutions.

Skills & Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and command line.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts or DevOps tools is a plus.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, IP, firewall, etc.).
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• B.Tech/MCA or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per year
