Job Summary:

CCIE-certified Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex

    LAN/WAN/WLAN, MPLS, VPN, and SD-WAN

    networks.
  • Provide

    Level 3 and Level 4 support

    for escalated network issues.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions for recurring incidents.
  • Create and maintain

    HLD (High-Level Design)

    and

    LLD (Low-Level Design)

    documents.
  • Manage network infrastructure projects from planning to execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Security, Cloud, DevOps).
  • Ensure network security through firewalls, IDS/IPS, and compliance with standards.
  • Conduct network performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Mentor and guide L1/L2 team members.
  • Work with vendor TAC (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) for complex troubleshooting.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Valid

    CCIE certification

    (e.g., CCIE Routing & Switching, Security, Enterprise Infrastructure, or Data Center).
  • In-depth expertise in

    Cisco routers, switches, firewalls (ASA/Firepower), and Nexus platforms.

  • Hands-on with

    BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRF, VLAN, STP, VTP, QoS, NAT, ACLs

    .
  • Strong experience in

    SD-WAN

    ,

    Network Automation

    , and

    Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)

    .
  • Solid understanding of

    network security protocols

    ,

    PKI

    , and

    AAA

    frameworks.
  • Good exposure to

    SolarWinds, Wireshark, PRTG

    , or other monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with

    cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)

    is a plus.
