About the Role

We’re looking for a Freelance Senior Art Director (Design) who lives and breathes brand identity. You’ll lead the creation of distinctive, strategically grounded visual worlds — from concept to execution. Your role is to define how brands look, feel, and communicate across every touchpoint.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the art direction and visual design of new brand identities and rebrands.

• Develop brand systems — logos, typography, color, imagery, and motion — that are timeless, flexible, and rooted in strategy.

• Collaborate with brand strategists, copywriters, and designers to translate positioning into design direction.

• Craft concept presentations and creative decks that tell a compelling visual story.

• Oversee the visual tone across campaigns, web, and experiential touchpoints to ensure brand consistency.

• Guide and inspire designers, ensuring creative excellence across all deliverables.

• Present creative work to clients, clearly articulating design rationale and strategic intent.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in art direction and brand identity design (agency or studio background preferred).

• A strong portfolio showcasing identity systems, brand guidelines, and visual storytelling.

• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and presentation design tools.

• Deep understanding of brand strategy, visual hierarchy, and storytelling through design.

• Excellent communication skills — you can bridge creative intuition with strategic thinking.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver exceptional work under tight timelines.

Nice to Have

Experience in motion design, 3D, or environmental branding.

Background in photo direction, campaign art direction, or digital brand experiences.

Familiarity with brand naming and positioning processes.
