Franchise Sales Manager

to lead franchise expansion efforts across six key cities:

Pune, Delhi NCR, Lucknow, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving franchise sales, identifying qualified investors, strengthening regional presence, and ensuring seamless onboarding of new franchise partners. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage end-to-end franchise development processes. Note: due to the nature of the role, significant in-person activity (meetings, site visits, presentations) is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Franchise Sales Strategy & Planning
  • Develop, implement, and refine franchise sales strategies to achieve defined targets and regional growth milestones.
  • Identify potential markets within assigned cities and prepare region-specific sales action plans.
  • Track market performance and adjust strategies to maximize conversions and minimize sales cycle time.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Generate high-quality franchise leads through networking, digital campaigns, industry events, referral networks, and partnership-driven outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of prospective franchisees for current and future expansion plans.
  • Ensure a continuous flow of qualified prospects by adopting innovative lead generation techniques.
  • Screening & Qualification of Prospects
  • Conduct initial discussions to understand investor background, interest levels, and business goals.
  • Evaluate financial capability, experience, and alignment with brand standards to determine suitability.
  • Maintain a strong qualification process to ensure only committed and capable investors move forward.
  • Presentations & Investor Engagement
  • Present the company's franchise model, investment structure, operating requirements, and ROI projections in a compelling and informative manner.
  • Conduct franchise meetings, online sessions, site visits, and detailed presentations to help investors make informed decisions.
  • Build trust and establish long-term relationships with prospects through transparent communication.
  • Negotiations & Finalization
  • Lead commercial negotiations, discuss terms and conditions, and manage expectations throughout the closing process.
  • Work closely with the finance and legal departments to finalize agreements, documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure that all negotiations align with company policies and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • CRM & Documentation Management
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of leads, conversations, pipeline stages, and conversions using CRM tools.
  • Track conversion metrics and identify trends to optimize the sales process.
  • Prepare detailed reports on franchise sales performance, pipeline status, and business development activities.
  • Onboarding & Pre-Opening Support
  • Collaborate with internal departmentsincluding marketing, operations, training, and legalto ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Guide new franchise partners through the pre-opening process, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and operational readiness.
  • Support franchisees in completing initial setup requirements and preparing for a successful launch.
  • Market Research & Competition Analysis
  • Stay updated on competitor activities, regional trends, and industry developments.
  • Share insights with management to refine franchise offerings, pricing, and expansion strategies.

Candidate Requirements

  • This is a field-based role (not remote): Must be based in or willing to work across Pune, Delhi NCR, Lucknow, Bangalore, Hyderabad, or Chennai. Frequent travel and regular in-person engagement within these cities are required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 38 years of experience in franchise sales, business development, retail expansion, or similar roles.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience handling end-to-end franchise sales cycles.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel frequently within assigned regions.
  • High level of professionalism, ownership, and relationship-building capability.
