About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced and innovative Fragrance Development Manager to lead our perfumery division in Indore. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in fragrance formulation, evaluation techniques, and GC-MS, along with a strong background in team leadership and project management.

This is a senior-level role ideal for someone passionate about fragrance creation, with a strategic mindset and proven experience in managing large teams in the Pharma, perfumery or fragrance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the fragrance development team (minimum 15 members), ensuring smooth execution of all formulation and evaluation projects.
• Oversee end-to-end development of new fragrances across multiple product categories.
• Use GC-MS and other analytical tools to evaluate and improve fragrance compositions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, R&D, production) to align fragrance development with brand and product objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality protocols.
• Guide and mentor junior perfumers and evaluators to maintain high creative and technical standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high performance.
• Maintain detailed documentation and reports on fragrance trials, performance, and client feedback.
• Proactively contribute to innovation and product improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience:
• 8+ years of work experience in the fragrance/perfumery industry/Pharma is mandatory.
• Proven experience managing a team of 10 or more professionals.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of GC-MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry).
• Expertise in fragrance formulation and evaluation techniques.
• Deep understanding of fragrance families, raw materials, and market trends.
• Proficiency in using systems and software tools relevant to the industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.

Pay: ₹83,333.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
