Sri Ramakrishna Industries is a manufacturer of quality cast iron components, serving diverse industries. We are expanding our operations and seeking an experienced and dynamic Foundry Manager to lead our production operations, ensure efficiency, and maintain the highest quality standards.

Role Overview

The Foundry Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the foundry, ensuring smooth production processes, maintaining safety standards, managing manpower, and driving continuous improvements in productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise foundry operations to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
• Manage melting, molding, core-making, fettling, and machining processes with a strong focus on quality and cost efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications as per customer requirements.
• Monitor and control raw material consumption, yield, and wastage.
• Lead and motivate the workforce to achieve operational excellence.
• Implement safety practices and maintain compliance with statutory regulations.
• Troubleshoot production challenges and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and design teams for process improvements.
• Prepare and monitor production reports, manpower planning, and cost analysis.
• Drive initiatives for automation, process optimization, and lean manufacturing.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Production Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum 12 years plus - of experience in foundry operations (preferably in cast iron).
• Strong technical knowledge of foundry processes (molding, melting, metallurgy, pattern shop, fettling, etc.).
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, planning, and decision-making abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
