Job Description

Founding Engineer – Agentic AI

Please Note:

Qolaba

engineering-first team

What You’ll Do

Design, build, and scale
AI-powered, full-stack applications
from scratch.
Lead
front-end development
using
Next.js, React.js, and React Native Expo
, including
Agentic UIs
powered by generative AI.
Architect and maintain
distributed, event-driven back-end systems
with
Node.js / Bun / Deno
.
Build and optimize
high-performance data layers
with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Vector Databases (Pinecone, Chroma, Milvus).
Collaborate with the founders to
shape product roadmap, architecture, and engineering culture
.
Write
clean, well-tested code
and set the foundation for technical excellence.

What We’re Looking For

4+ years
in professional software development (2+ in AI-powered applications).
Strong
TypeScript
and modern
React ecosystem
experience (Next.js, React Native, RSC).
Hands-on with
LLMs and Agentic AI frameworks
(e.g., CopilotKit, Vercel AI SDK, Mastra, LangGraph).
Experience with
distributed systems, WebSockets, Pub/Sub
, and event-driven architecture.
Bonus:
WebAssembly (Wasm)
experience for high-performance web apps.
Strong GitHub/GitLab portfolio
or open-source contributions showcasing technical depth.

What We Offer

Salary:
₹12–24 LPA (final offer based on interviews)
Ownership:
Meaningful ESOPs worth ₹1–1.2 Cr + Equity (cliff & vesting discussed in offer call)
Location:
Remote-first, with an option to work from Gurugram HQ
