Formulation Chemist

Your role as a New Product Development Specialist will involve working closely with the team to plan and execute the product development calendar, ensuring timely delivery and launch of new products. In this role, you will be responsible for liaising with the team from the initial concept and brief stage to product specification, manufacturing, sample approval, and final launch. Your focus will be on understanding the customer experience, conducting market research, and identifying opportunities to fill product gaps, generate new ideas, improve customer experience, and drive sales growth. Additionally, you will be meeting with vendors, assessing their products and services, negotiating pricing, and addressing any product or service-related concerns. Your responsibilities will also include researching and evaluating vendors to ensure the best pricing and product quality, monitoring sales trends, conducting interviews with new vendors, and improving vendor management programs. The ideal candidate for this role would have 2-4 years of experience as a New Product Development Specialist or in a related field, with a preference for Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) experience. You should have a solid understanding of the product development process and the ability to bring a product to market, from concept to warehouse stock. Strong attention to detail, negotiation skills, management capabilities, decision-making skills, and willingness to travel for work are essential for success in this role.,
