Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Formulation / Manufacturing Chemist with deep technical expertise in cosmetic and detergent manufacturing for international markets . The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing, optimizing, and scaling clean formulations consistent with EWG Verified™ and Made Safe® certification criteria. Key Responsibilities Replicate and scale safe (toxin free, as per EWG/ Made Safe) personal and home care products that meet EWG and Made Safe standards. Evaluate and document raw materials for global safety approval and ingredient compliance. Conduct stability, safety, and performance testing per international regulatory guidelines. GMP production and SOP documentation Maintain comprehensive ingredient disclosure and compliance documentation for audit and export needs. Ingredient sourcing & supplier management Product replication & reverse formulation New product development (detergents, skincare, home care) Regulatory compliance (BIS, ISO 22716, FSSAI) QC and stability testing Cost analysis & process optimization Cross-functional project management Qualifications B.Sc/M.Sc. in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field. 5+ years of Manufacturing experience in cosmetics, home care, or FMCG sectors. Proven knowledge of EWG/INCI labeling , ingredient safety substantiation , and global compliance documentation (EU/FDA). Ability to lead Manufacturing development from lab scale to commercial production with attention to sustainability and safety.
