Job Description

As an F&B Supervisor, your role involves overseeing daily food and beverage operations to ensure high service standards and guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing staff, monitoring performance, managing inventory and costs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and resolving customer issues. Your strong leadership, excellent customer service, and organizational skills will be crucial in maintaining smooth operations in restaurants, bars, and dining facilities. Key Responsibilities: - Staff Management: Supervise, schedule, and motivate food and beverage staff for optimal performance and service standards adherence. - Guest Experience: Ensure excellent guest service by monitoring staff performance, resolving complaints, and upholding high service standards. - Operations Management: Oversee daily food and beverage service functioning, coordinate with kitchen staff, and manage buffets or special events. - Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor and manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to maximize productivity. - Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations for a clean and safe environment. - Training & Development: Assist in training and developing F&B team members, including recruitment and selection processes. Skills and Qualifications: - Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. - Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Organizational Skills: Strong abilities to manage staff schedules, inventory, and daily operations efficiently. - Knowledge of Industry Standards: Familiarity with food safety regulations, inventory management, and customer service best practices. - Communication Skills: Strong communication skills for coordination with staff, kitchen, and guests. In the work environment, F&B Supervisors operate in various settings like hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality establishments. This role may require working irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
