Food & Beverage Service Associate

As a Restaurant Server, your role will involve greeting and welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner. You will be responsible for taking food and beverage orders accurately and relaying them to the kitchen/bar. Additionally, you will provide recommendations and answer any questions about the menu, specials, and ingredients. Serving food and beverages promptly to guests in accordance with service standards is crucial. In case of any guest concerns or complaints, you will address and resolve them courteously. Key Responsibilities: - Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar. - Provide menu recommendations and answer guest questions. - Serve food and beverages promptly with adherence to service standards. - Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints courteously. - Prepare dining areas, including setting up tables, utensils, and condiments. - Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. - Monitor inventory levels of supplies and notify management for reordering. - Follow safety and sanitation procedures for a clean and safe work environment. - Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and team members for smooth service. - Assist in training new staff members as required. - Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors for operational efficiency. Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Previous experience in food and beverage service is an advantage but not required. Please note that this is a full-time position with weekend availability required. The work location is in person.
