Role & responsibilities

A food and beverage (F&B) executive's responsibilities include:

Managing operations: An F&B executive manages the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including food and beverage orders, staff, and finances.
Maintaining quality standards: An F&B executive ensures that the restaurant meets quality standards and health and safety regulations.
Handling guest complaints: An F&B executive handles guest issues promptly and professionally, and communicates problems to the restaurant manager.
Building customer relationships: An F&B executive builds positive relationships with customers to help with retention, recommendations, and brand awareness.
Training staff: An F&B executive attracts, recruits, trains, and appraises talented personnel.
Monitoring inventory: An F&B executive monitors inventory and cost control.
Developing menus: An F&B executive develops menus.
