Floor Staff

Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for energetic and customer-focused individuals to join our supermarket team as Floor Staff. You will be responsible for maintaining store cleanliness, assisting customers, stocking shelves, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. This is a front-line role that requires excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Stock and replenish shelves, freezers, and displays to ensure products are well-presented and available. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the shop floor, aisles, and customer areas. Check product labels, expiration dates, and pricing to ensure accuracy. Handle product returns and customer queries promptly. Collaborate with team members to execute promotions, store layouts, and inventory counts. Monitor stock levels and report low inventory or out-of-stock items to supervisors. Assist with unloading deliveries and organizing stock in the back room. Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
