Key Responsibilities: Reorder Process Management: Monitor stock levels using software-based data and initiate reorders for suppliers as per the inventory requirements. Generate and send reorder requests to suppliers based on automated system prompts or inventory needs. Supplier Coordination and Follow-Up: Regularly follow up with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate stock delivery as per agreements. Address any delays or issues in delivery schedules by maintaining direct communication with the supplier representatives. Purchase Order and Delivery Item Reconciliation: Review purchase orders and compare them with the delivery item lists to ensure all items are delivered correctly. Identify and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and deliveries, including damaged, missing, or incorrect items. Update and maintain accurate records of purchase orders, deliveries, and discrepancies. Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately enter data into the company’s software system to maintain updated records of supplier orders, stock levels, and delivery statuses. Ensure all documentation is filed and tracked for easy retrieval and auditing purposes. Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, quantity, or product specifications. Work closely with internal departments (e.g., procurement, inventory management) to ensure smooth operations and address any supply chain issues. Report Generation and Tracking: Prepare regular reports on inventory status, reorder activities, stock delivery schedules, and any discrepancies for management review. Provide insights into any trends or recurring issues with suppliers and recommend improvements.
