Job Description

Flood Modelling Engineer

Your skills and experience

Ideally be in the range of 3-6 years experience in project delivery and management.
M.Tech / M.E. in Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Strong understanding of hydrology, hydraulics, and flood modelling principles.
Proficiency in modelling software: TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, HEC-RAS, MIKE, InfoWorks ICM.
Experience with GIS tools: ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo.
Familiarity with UK/ME hydrological standards (e.g., FEH) is a plus.
Experience with coastal/tidal modelling and stormwater drainage systems.
Knowledge of sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and water-sensitive urban design.
Ability to manage projects and interact with clients.
Experience in QA/QC of modelling outputs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
