Fleet Manager

As a Fleet Manager at Nexzu Mobility Ltd in Kolkata, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of our fleet of electric vehicles (EVs). Your primary goal will be to ensure efficient utilization, maintenance, and performance of the fleet to support the company's business operations and growth. Your key responsibilities will include: - Overseeing daily operations of the fleet to ensure timely availability and optimal utilization of vehicles. - Developing and implementing strategies for efficient fleet operations, including route planning, vehicle scheduling, and resource allocation. - Ensuring regular maintenance and servicing of all vehicles in the fleet to maintain optimal performance and safety standards. - Implementing safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits and inspections. - Maintaining accurate records of all fleet-related assets, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely procurement of necessary supplies. - Monitoring and controlling fleet-related expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing measures to reduce operational costs. - Ensuring all fleet activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. - Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers, and negotiating contracts and agreements. - Leading and managing the fleet management team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative work environment. - Generating and analyzing fleet performance reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and providing regular updates to senior management. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management, preferably within the automotive or transportation industry. You should possess a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, logistics, and safety regulations, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite, strong analytical and decision-making abilities, effective communication and leadership skills, and a passion for sustainable mobility solutions and environmental responsibility. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule and a yearly bonus. The work location is in person.
