Job Description

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Rider Recruitment & Onboarding:

Source and hire skilled riders aligned with organizational requirements and culture.

Ensure proper documentation and verification during onboarding.

Training & Development:

Provide comprehensive training on the delivery application, grooming standards, and customer service etiquette to ensure an excellent customer experience.

Rider Deployment & Capacity Management:

Work closely with the operations and growth teams to ensure riders are deployed as per demand and capacity requirements.

Team Leadership:

Lead by example, motivate riders, and foster a performance-driven culture focused on meeting delivery SLAs and customer expectations.

Operational Efficiency:

Monitor rider availability and improve daily live rider percentages to enhance delivery efficiency and reliability.

Performance Monitoring & Rider Engagement:

Track rider productivity, address grievances, and ensure optimal rider engagement and satisfaction.

Territory-Level Fleet Oversight:

Manage fleet operations within the assigned area and ensure smooth functioning of delivery activities.

Retention & Attrition Management:

Implement strategies to retain riders and reduce attrition through proactive engagement and resolution of concerns.

Budgeting & Payouts:

Prepare payout models, manage fuel and operational costs, and ensure timely and accurate disbursement of rider payments.

Requirements:

  • Experience:

    Minimum 5 years in fleet or last-mile delivery operations, with hands-on experience in rider hiring and team handling.
  • Skills:

    Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to manage operations under pressure.
  • Education:

    MBA or Masters degree in Operations, Logistics, or related fields preferred.
