We are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our transport fleet across India. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of transport operations, broker management, vehicle compliance, and driver coordination. Key Responsibilities: Manage and monitor all company vehicles to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations. Coordinate with brokers and drivers across Pan India for vehicle movement and load allocation. Arrange alternate drivers when regular drivers are on leave. Handle incidents such as breakdowns or en-route accidents assess the situation, coordinate with the driver, resolve the issue, and update management. Monitor diesel usage, vehicle idle time, and trip efficiency maintain 1114 trips per month depending on route and distance. Oversee preventive maintenance and ensure timely renewals of permits, FC, insurance, and quarterly taxes to avoid penalties. Manage vehicle cleanliness and condition checks every 15 days. Address driver misconduct immediately and arrange replacements if needed. Ensure all documentation (trip sheets, challans, fuel logs) is updated accurately. Track TAT (Turnaround Time) and follow up strictly. Ensure compliance with transport and safety regulations. Plan routes, optimize mileage, and control operational costs. Maintain and analyze fleet data to improve efficiency.
