Fitter in Maintenance Department

As a Senior Fitter in Maintenance at Virtuoso Optoelectronics Limited, you will be responsible for the following: - Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment, machinery, and utilities. - Carry out fitting, alignment, assembly, dismantling, and re-installation of machine parts. - Troubleshoot mechanical problems in pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, fans, and other rotating equipment. - Ensure proper lubrication, tightening, and replacement of worn-out parts to reduce downtime. - Work on welding, grinding, drilling, and fabrication as required for maintenance activities. - Read and interpret mechanical drawings, sketches, and manuals for repair work. - Maintain proper records of maintenance activities and spare parts usage. - Adhere to safety standards and ensure safe working practices during maintenance tasks. - Support production and utility teams to achieve smooth operations. - Provide guidance to junior fitters and helpers when required. Qualification Required: - ITI in Fitter Trade / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
