Firmware Engineer Intern

oles & Responsibilities

• As part of the firmware team, you will be required to develop and test top quality real-time firmware in C and C++.
• You will drive firmware development testing for performance, scalability, robustness, and tight integration with the hardware.
• Create development processes that result in reliable, quality code.
• Hands-on with hardware bring up, system debugging and code optimization.
• Build and enforce component validation for delivering robust, functional code.

Desired Skills:

• Capable of delivering top quality C and C++ code in a real time embedded environment.
• Exposure to software fundamentals including architectural design, algorithm development, data structures, code modularity, and maintainability.
• Desired to have test driven development experience using unit testing, software in the loop, and hardware in the loop methodologies. Our developers participate significantly in firmware testing, so a validation mindset is required.
• Remain engaged, proactive and positive while solving very challenging problems
• Own assignments and take full accountability for overall team success
• Strong scripting skills in Python.
• Experience working with new product introduction and process improvements

Qualifications:

• B.Tech or higher in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or proof of exceptional skills in related fields, with practical engineering experience.

Bonus:

• Experience with NFC, WiFi, BLE, or cellular on embedded systems is a plus
• Desired to have experience implementing firmware for automotive systems, battery management, or other time and safety critical products.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
