Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Fireman/Fire Supervisor to join our team in the EHS department at our Agro Chemical Industry located in Saykha, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in fire safety and management.

Roles and Responsibility

Perform firefighting work, including preventing, combating, and extinguishing fires to protect lives, property, and the environment.
Conduct general maintenance on fire equipment and facilities.
Participate in training programs on firefighting, emergency medical care, disaster response, and specialized rescue.
Operate firefighting and rescuing equipment such as aerial ladders, axes, and fire hoses.
Maintain relevant fire logs and documentation.
Ensure knowledge and availability of emergency controls, including fire fighting equipment, PPEs, medical, and first aid.

Job Requirements

Diploma in a relevant field.
Strong knowledge of various laws like Factories Act, Fire Prevention Act.
Great physical strength and stamina with the ability to dress and move quickly.
Experience in IT Software - Application Programming / Maintenance industry is preferred.
Knowledge of fire safety equipment and apparatus.
Familiarity with first aid/CPR methods.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
