Job Summary: A Fireman is responsible for responding to fire emergencies, conducting rescue operations, and ensuring fire safety measures are in place. The role requires expertise in firefighting techniques, fire prevention strategies, and emergency response protocols in a manufacturing plant. Key Responsibilities: Respond promptly to fire emergencies and rescue operations. Operate and maintain firefighting equipment, including hoses, hydrants, and extinguishers. Conduct fire drills and safety training sessions for employees and the public. Inspect buildings and workplaces to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations. Assist in evacuations and provide first aid in emergency situations. Collaborate with emergency response teams, including police and medical personnel. Maintain records of fire incidents and safety inspections. Stay updated on the latest firefighting techniques and safety protocols. Qualifications & Requirements: ITI or Diploma in Fire Safety from a recognized institution. Minimum educational qualification: 10th pass. Physical fitness as per industry standards (height, chest, and weight requirements may apply). Knowledge of fire prevention, fire protection, and emergency response. Ability to work under pressure and in hazardous conditions. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Preferred Skills: Experience in firefighting or emergency response. Certification in first aid and rescue operations. Familiarity with fire safety laws and regulations in India. Salary & Career Growth: Salary varies based on experience and location, typically ranging from ₹12,000 to ₹25,000 per month.
