Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and certified State-Level Fireman to join our Safety & Security team at CGC University. The ideal candidate must possess formal certification from an accredited firefighting academy and should be well-trained in emergency response, fire control, rescue operations, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly to fire alarms, emergency calls, and safety incidents across the campus.

Perform fire suppression, rescue operations, and evacuation procedures with efficiency and professionalism.

Inspect, maintain, and operate firefighting equipment, hoses, extinguishers, hydrants, and fire vehicles.

Conduct regular safety audits and fire drills for students, staff, and departments.

Assist in educating the campus community on fire prevention and emergency preparedness.

Maintain detailed records of incidents, inspections, and training activities.

Collaborate with the safety department to ensure compliance with state fire safety standards.

Required Qualifications

State-Level Firefighter certification from an accredited firefighting academy.

Proven training in fire suppression, rescue, first aid & CPR.

Physically fit and capable of performing high-risk duties.

Strong understanding of fire safety protocols, emergency response systems, and hazard management.

Ability to stay calm and take quick decisions in emergencies.

Basic knowledge of operating fire tenders and rescue tools (preferred).

Experience

1–3 years of experience in firefighting or emergency response (fresh certified candidates may also apply).
