Fire Safety Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

* Design and prepare detailed engineering drawings for fire detection, fire suppression,

and fire alarm systems.

* Develop hydraulic calculations, system sizing, and layout design for sprinkler,

hydrant, and pump systems.

* Ensure designs are compliant with national and international standards (e.g., NFPA,

NBC, TAC, FM Global, IS codes).

* Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and system schematics.

* Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and civil design teams to ensure seamless

integration of fire protection systems.

* Review vendor/supplier drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications.

* Support project execution teams with technical inputs and resolve site-related

queries.

* Participate in client meetings and design reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Fire & Safety, or related engineering

discipline.

* 3–5 years of relevant experience in fire protection system design and detailing.

* Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), or other 3D modeling

software.

* Strong knowledge of NFPA, NBC, IS standards, and fire safety regulations.

* Ability to prepare technical documentation, reports, and material take-offs.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Experience:

• fire protection system design: 2 years (Preferred)
• NFPA, NBC: 2 years (Preferred)
