Fire Officer

As a Fire Safety Specialist at our Thermal Power Generation plant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fire safety and emergency response plans. Your primary duties will include conducting regular fire risk assessments, safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with all relevant fire safety regulations, codes, and standards. You will also lead fire drills, training sessions, and simulations to educate employees on emergency procedures. In this role, you will be managing and maintaining fire detection and suppression systems, equipment, and resources to ensure the safety of our plant. Additionally, you will coordinate with external emergency services and agencies to enhance overall emergency response capabilities. In the event of fire incidents, you will conduct investigations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. Your responsibilities will also include preparing reports, documentation, and records related to fire safety activities and compliance. It is essential to stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in fire safety to ensure the effectiveness of our fire safety measures. To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Fire Engineering, or a related field.
