Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed CAD drawings, layouts, and schematics for fire alarm and firefighting systems (sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel, pump room, clean agent, etc.).
  • Develop and update Preliminary design, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings in compliance with project requirements and standards.
  • Coordinate with design engineers, architects, and other MEP disciplines to resolve technical issues.
  • Review consultant/authority comments and revise drawings accordingly.
  • Maintain drawing records and ensure timely submission of deliverables.
  • Ensure drawings comply with Oman requirements, UAE Civil Defense, SBC, NFPA, and local authority regulations.


Requirements:

  • Diploma/bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting Draftsman / CAD Engineer in the construction/consultancy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Experience in preparing drawings for Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Hydrant, Hose Reel, Pump Room, Gas Suppression, and Emergency Lighting systems.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
