Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to facilitate accurate business forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for performance optimisation.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that inform business strategies and support key initiatives.
• Conduct detailed scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate potential risks and outcomes under various assumptions.
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets, ensuring consistency with company goals and financial objectives.
• Demonstrate proficiency in LBO modelling, along with other valuation techniques such as DCF and Comparable Company analysis, to evaluate investment opportunities and guide strategic decision-making.
• Support valuation processes and business case development for investment decisions, mergers & acquisitions, and capital allocation.
• Prepare and deliver clear, actionable financial reports to senior leadership, offering strategic insights and recommendations.
• Review financial performance with senior management, undertake ad-hoc financial analysis, and contribute to special projects as needed.
• Manage relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure timely and effective delivery of financial modelling projects.
• Cultivate strong oral and written communication skills to build professional relationships with internal teams and external clients.
  

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; master's degree or diploma in financial planning, a plus.
• Excellent Excel skills or experience with similar spreadsheet software, including the use of charts, macros, and VBA.
• Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and a solid understanding of financial analysis terminology and best practices, such as DCF and financial statements.
• A keen eye for detail and an ability to sift through large data sets to extract meaningful information.
• Excellent time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
