Job Description

Job Location: Mulund West, Mumbai

Finance Officer

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare invoices for clients, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
Process payments related to the day to day working of the office
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly financial reporting.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Support year-end audits, tax preparation, and liaise with external accountants when needed.
Monitor cash flow and provide insights to management.
Implement financial controls and help improve internal processes.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Having a Masters degree is a plus point.
3–5 years of experience in financial or accounting roles (experience in recruitment or staffing industry is a plus). Having supervisory role experience is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial statements, and accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally and MS Excel.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills for working with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
Good in English communication
