Finance Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily financial operations of the company at PeeJay Ventures Pvt Ltd in Chittady, Palakkad. Your primary duties will include daily closing of the petty cash book, verifying rent computations, preparing vehicle profit and loss accounts monthly, performing ledger confirmations with customers, preparing and monitoring the finance budget, and allocating daily sales reports to the operations team. You will also be tasked with posting costing PL summaries, daily financial summaries, and ensuring timely preparation of the day book. Additionally, you will coordinate with management for financial decision-making and compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee daily financial operations - Daily closing of petty cash book - Verify rent computations and coordinate with Accounts team for tax invoices related to transportation services - Preparation of Vehicle Profit and Loss Accounts on a monthly basis - Perform Ledger Confirmation with customers and reconcile balances periodically - Prepare and monitor the Finance Budget - Allocate Daily Sales reports to the operations team - Post Costing PL Summary and ensure timely reporting in Accounts WP group - Post Daily Financial Summaries (Debtors, Cash, Bank, Creditors) in the Accounts WP group - Ensure timely preparation of Day Book - Coordinate with management for financial decision-making and compliance Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field - 5-9 years of proven experience in finance/accounts, preferably in the logistics/trading/manufacturing sector - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards - Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally/ERP, and other accounting software - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Leadership skills with the ability to manage a small accounts team If there are any additional details about the company in the job description, please provide them.,
