The Corporate Finance (FP&A) department is accountable for managing or carrying out tasks related to the analysis of internal financial data (e.g., profit and loss accounts, financial statements, working capital, costs, prices, expenses, revenues, rates of return, etc.). It also involves financial assessment and modeling of potential investment opportunities, evaluating the impacts of financial transactions and corporate development activities, analyzing external economic conditions and their effects on business operations (e.g., inflation, interest rates, exchange rates), and handling mergers and acquisition transactions from strategy to integration. The role involves managing a team of either one lead professional or two or more entry to experienced professionals who have autonomy in their assignments. The focus is on implementing policies and strategies to achieve short-term results within a year.
