Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Project Finance: Structure and negotiate finance deals for green energy projects, including solar, wind, hydro, Hybrid , BESS ,BOS Transmission Lines and other renewable energy sources like Green Hydrogen , Green Ammonia , Bio Energy, Waste to Energy etc.

2. Sourcing and finalizing appropriate Investment Firms, Consortiums Lead Banks for Fund Arrangement

3. Prepare, develop and evaluate Financial Modelling: and maintain financial models (showing IRR , ROE , Pay Back , Break Even ,Others) to evaluate project feasibility, risks, and returns and present to top management meetings and coordinate for Project Approvals

Lead the Preparation of Pre-Feasibility Reports (PFR) and Detailed Project Reports (DPR)

4. Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with green energy projects.

5. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with project developers, investors, lenders, and government agencies to secure funding and ensure project success.

6. Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with market trends, policies, and regulations affecting green energy project finance.

7. Deal Origination: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in green energy project finance.

8. Coordinate for Compliance and related approvals

9. Experience in Listing IPO setup is highly preferable

10 Guiding the Regular F&A Team and supervising the Regular F&A Functional Activities

Key Requirements:

1. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of green energy technologies, project finance structures,

and funding sources.

2. Qualifications CA Certifications: or equivalent experience.

3. Should be well versed with Project Finance Instruments specially for for Green Energy in India that includes Equity /Debt/ FCCBs/FCCDs/QIPs.

4. Candidate should have very in depth knowledge and experience in handling the following

various Green Energy Project Finance Instruments

- Green Bonds & Concessional Loan s : Funding source for renewable energy initiatives. Power

Finance Corporation (PFC) and REC Limited - Infrastructure Debt Funds (IDFs): Designed to

provide long-term.

Experience on arranging - Credit Guarantees: Mechanisms that mitigate risk for lenders,

making it easier for green energy projects to secure funding.

- Special exposure on Private Equity (PE) Investments/ VC Funding : in green energy projects,

providing necessary equity funding for growth and further development.

- Direct Government Lending Programs: Government-backed lending programs provide low-

cost, long-term debt financing for green energy projects.

Candidate should have special exposure with - Multilateral Funding Agencies and Foreign Direct Investments

- Green Climate Fund (GCF): Global Environment Facility (GEF):

- World Banks Climate Investment Funds (CIFs):

-- Bilateral Funding Agencies like

- KfW (Germany): JICA (Japan):- UK Government:

- International Financial Institutions

- International Financial Corporation(IFC)

- Asian Development Bank: - Green Bonds

- Carbon Credits and Carbon Trading Platforms: Providing financial incentives for reducing carbon emissions

Preferred candidate profile

CA Certifications with 7 to 9 years of experience in project finance, renewable energy, Green Energy or a related field.
