Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Finance Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial data, and supporting various financial processes. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in finance, a B.Com or equivalent background, and proficiency in Zoho Books.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Management:

    Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Supplier Payments:

    Manage vendor and supplier payments efficiently, negotiate payment terms where applicable, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Customer Invoicing:

    Prepare, issue, and track customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely collection while addressing any discrepancies or queries.
  • Reimbursements:

    Manage employee reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Data Management:

    Maintain and update financial records, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting:

    Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Compliance:

    Ensure adherence to statutory compliance requirements and internal controls.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and optimize cash flow processes.
  • Process Improvement:

    Identify opportunities to streamline accounts processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce errors in payments and invoicing.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: B.Com or relevant qualification in Finance/Accounting.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in finance or accounting roles.
  • Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Zoho Books is a must; familiarity with MS Excel is preferred.
