Finance Executive (IC Role)

Role Overview: As an Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining proper accounting and statutory documentation, ensuring good internal financial controls, and timely monthly book closing. You will be responsible for preparing monthly P&L and Balance sheet, coordinating and submitting monthly financials to the parent company, and assisting in the consolidation of accounts. In addition, your day-to-day tasks will involve maintaining accurate accounting records using Zoho software, preparing MIS summaries, filing tax returns (including GST and TDS), processing vendor invoices and employee reimbursements, reconciling bank accounts, and preparing financial statements for audits. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records using Zoho software - Ensure timely monthly closure and provision accounts - Prepare MIS summaries - Prepare and file tax returns, including GST and TDS - Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations - Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements accurately - Verify invoices and ensure appropriate TDS implementation - Monitor and reconcile bank accounts regularly - Prepare financial statements, provisional Balance Sheet, and P&L Statements - Coordinate with auditors to resolve discrepancies and issues Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in using accounting software, preferably Zoho - Familiarity with tax laws and regulations - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment Additional Details: (If no additional details are provided in the JD, this section will be omitted),
