Job Description

As an Accounting Assistant at our company, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Assist in recording daily financial transactions such as sales, purchases, expenses, and receipts. - Maintain proper documentation of invoices, vouchers, and other accounting records. - Support data entry in accounting software like Tally or ERP. - Assist in preparing and filing GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements. - Help in reconciling accounts and ledgers. In terms of banking duties, you will be required to: - Visit banks for cheque deposits, cash withdrawals, and other routine transactions. - Submit and collect important banking documents such as NEFT/RTGS forms and account statements. - Maintain entries for petty cash and daily cash book. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - 12th Pass/ B.Com or Diploma in Accounting or a related field. - Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or bank-related roles. - Basic knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in MS Excel. - Familiarity with accounting software, especially Tally, is preferred. - Good numerical and communication skills. - Trustworthy, punctual, and open to local travel for banking work.
