Description
The candidate will be a seasoned Project/Program manager and will be responsible for leading high impact efficiency and improvement projects within the Fice Operations Accounts Receivables group at Amazon in the areas of Collections, Dispute management, Invoicing, Cash Applications and Customer Experience.
The responsibility of this role will be Program Management for AR teams in multiple service centers and geographies. This individual will be adept at leading and driving change in a very dynamic business environment and has a proven record of delivering process efficiency results. This role will lead cross site and functional projects and drive these projects to successful on-time launch. Develop an in-depth understanding of Amazon s products, business models, payment architecture and ficial operations supporting the Order to Cash processes. Support critical relationships with internal and external business partners Delivers complex medium to large scale projects from initiation through delivery Streamline project delivery across FinOps by standardizing project communications, execution and documentation, ensuring consistent, scalable global processes Gathers requirements from appropriate business owners, writes clear and detailed functional specifications, prioritizes features and drives technical scoping as needed Assess and defines customer value or impact and criteria for measuring project success Drive Technology adoption and continuous process improvement by collaborating with stakeholders on design of new solutions that enhance business performance and achieve established goals Ensure consistent and efficient execution of all functions across FinOps by working closely with internal business partners and stakeholders to drive adoption and implementation of global standards, processes and programs Identifies and evaluates potential risks/obstacles with minimal direction. Determines appropriate corrective action. Extensive Program Management and Change Management experience in a related industry, including managing complex software implementation Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to present in a clear and concise manner to all levels within the enterprise Ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope business requirements manage risks appropriately and effectively. Ability to manage multiple projects/programs Internal job description Experience in accounts receivable or account payable, or experience applying key ficial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses Significant experience leading continuous improvement projects at scale Bachelors degree in fice, engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelors degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience Working understanding on ML/GenAI technology tools and concepts CMA or CPA, or MBA in fice, accounting or related field Knowledge of SQL/ETL 10+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely ficial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., ficial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other ficial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
