Final Packaging Supervisor / Dispatch

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the inspection and packaging team to ensure 100% visual inspection of all finished components.
• Check for defects such as missing threads, damages, dents, short pieces, surface issues, and other non-conformities.
• Ensure only “OK” parts are packed according to customer requirements and quality standards.
• Oversee final inspection, segregation of rejected parts, correct labelling, counting, and packing.
• Maintain inspection and packing records in computer systems (Excel / ERP or similar).
• Coordinate with the Production and Quality Departments for corrective and preventive actions on repeated defects.
• Ensure proper work discipline, productivity, and safety among inspection and packaging workers.
• Verify packaging materials (boxes, polybags, labels, etc.) as per order and quality standards.
• Train and guide inspection staff on product quality standards and visual defect identification.
• Support timely dispatch of finished goods by maintaining inspection and packing schedules.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the brass or precision component industry.
• Sound knowledge of visual inspection standards, quality parameters, and rejection criteria.
• Basic computer literacy – data entry, Excel, and email communication.
• Strong supervisory and team management skills.
• Good understanding of measurement instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, thread gauges, etc.) is an advantage.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments (Production, QC, Dispatch).

Education:

• Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Mechanical, Production, or related field preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
