About the Role We are looking for a talented and creative Figma & WordPress Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing visually stunning, user-friendly website interfaces using Figma and translating those designs into fully functional, responsive WordPress websites. You should have a strong eye for detail, a passion for UI/UX, and solid hands-on experience with WordPress themes, builders, and plugins. Key Responsibilities Design website layouts, components, and user flows in Figma based on client requirements or creative briefs. Convert Figma mockups into fully functional WordPress websites using themes, builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery, etc.), or custom code. Ensure responsive design across all devices (mobile, tablet, desktop). Collaborate with developers, content creators, and marketing teams to align design with brand goals. Optimize website performance, loading speed, and user experience. Maintain and update existing WordPress websites as needed. Implement basic on-page SEO best practices during website builds. Conduct quality assurance testing and fix front-end bugs. Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience designing in Figma (portfolio required). Strong proficiency with WordPress , including themes, plugins, and page builders. Good understanding of HTML, CSS , and JavaScript. Experience in creating responsive and accessible designs. Knowledge of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques. Familiarity with UX best practices and user-centric design. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have Experience with custom WordPress theme development. Familiarity with WooCommerce. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Understanding of SEO and performance optimization tools. Experience working in Agile or collaborative environments (e.g., using Trello, Asana, Slack, etc.).
