Field Service Technician (For solar inverter)

Position: Field Service Technician / Engineer (Solar Inverter industry)

Job Location: Guwahati, Assam (Local candidates preferred)

Job Description:

Install, inspect, and connect inverters and other solar components according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on solar systems and inverters, including diagnostics, component testing, and fault rectification.

Identify and resolve issues with system performance, diagnose malfunctions, and effectively troubleshoot problems related to inverters and electrical systems.

Monitor system performance, track generation reports, and ensure optimal efficiency and output.

Conduct electrical testing, wiring, grounding, and ensure proper connections for all components.

Interact with clients to educate them on system operation, provide support, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance activities, system performance, and compliance

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in understanding and working with electrical systems, solar inverter , solar panels, and power electronic devices.
• Problem-Solving: Strong ability to diagnose complex electrical and mechanical equipment issues and find effective solutions.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders, lifting heavy equipment, and working in various outdoor conditions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and other professionals.
• Software & Tools: Competent in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, and relevant software for system management and reporting.
• Education & Training: Often requires on-the-job training or an apprenticeship, with a background in electrical work or a related field being beneficial.

Education: Diploma / ITI / Degree in electrical engineering / power electronics

Experience: 1-4 years in Solar Industry (Solar Inverter servicing)

Salary: Rs. 20,000 to 40,000 per month (As per experience )
