Job Title:
Sales Officer

Purpose of the Role:
To promote products and services to customers, negotiate contracts, and maximize profits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve pre-agreed sales targets and develop solutions to maintain strong retailer/distributor relationships within the assigned territory.
• Visit assigned market daily and place orders using company-specified applications.
• Stay informed about industry trends and engage customers to address their business challenges.
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly individual sales goals.
• Build a repeat-business customer base to regularly communicate upcoming events and drive additional sales.
• Ensure product displays meet brand standards and guidelines.
• Negotiate and close deals, handling customer complaints or objections professionally.
• Ensure timely collection of payments to maintain control over receivables.
• Cross-sell and upsell across all product categories.
• Identify and develop new market opportunities.
• Assemble stock for daily delivery according to orders placed after market visits.

Financial Responsibilities:

• Collection of cheques and cash from retailers/distributors.

Reporting Relationships:

• Reports to: Head - Sales
• Reported by: N/A

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Graduation (Bachelor’s degree)
• 3 to 4 years of sales experience
• Negotiation skills
• Passion for sales
• Strong presentation skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
