Position title Field Sales Executive - Switch Industries / Home Automation Description We are looking for a dynamic Field Sales Executive to help grow our customer base in the switch industries and home automation sectors. This role requires you to identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, conduct product demonstrations, and consistently meet sales targets. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of electrical components and home automation products, coupled with the ability to work independently in the field. Responsibilities Sales & Business Development: Prospect for potential clients in the switch industries and home automation markets. Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and participation in industry events. Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture relationships with electrical contractors, builders, architects, and home automation firms. Offer customized solutions and provide ongoing technical support to ensure client satisfaction. Product Knowledge & Demonstrations: Showcase and demonstrate a variety of switches, automation systems, and related electrical products. Keep abreast of industry trends and the latest technological advancements. Reporting & Documentation: Keep detailed sales records, prepare comprehensive reports, and perform market analyses. Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions and track sales performance. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales manager, marketing team, and technical support staff to meet sales objectives and ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in field sales, ideally within the electrical, switch industries, or home automation sectors. Strong sales, communication, and negotiation abilities. Technical knowledge of electrical products and home automation systems. Ability to work independently and travel frequently within the designated territory. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. A valid driver’s license.
